Most of this industry sizes a system off a guess and pushes for a signature the same day. Eight Energy was set up to work the other way round: start from your real data, fix the price, and leave the decision entirely with you.
Why the company exists
Start from the truth, not the target
Ask most solar companies whether it's worth it and you'll get a yes before they've looked at anything. The system gets sized off a single number on your annual bill, the quote lands with a discount that vanishes if you don't sign today, and you're left doing the sums on your own afterwards.
Eight Energy is built to remove the guesswork and the pressure. We read your actual half-hourly electricity data and show you what solar and a battery would really do in your home — including the times it isn't worth it. The price we quote is fixed the moment you get it. And there's no same-day signature — you take as long as you need.
It's a simpler promise than most: your own data, a real payback figure, a price that doesn't move, and a plain answer to a hard question. That's the whole pitch.

Jordan has spent fifteen years in sales, the last ten of them in solar. He built and ran a solar and battery company that delivered hundreds of installs — real scale, and a close-up view of how this industry actually treats people.
That's why Eight Energy exists. Too much of the trade sizes systems off a guess, leans on pressure, and shifts the price to close the deal. He set this company up to do the opposite: size everything from your real half-hourly data, fix the price so it never moves, and leave the decision with you — no same-day signature.
He's personally at every survey and design. The person recommending the system is the person who has to stand behind it.

We'd rather tell you exactly where our certifications stand than imply they're already done. The real, checkable thing is the experience: ten years in solar and hundreds of installs delivered. The formal accreditations are being put in place now.

The redeveloped MCS scheme now covers what those consumer codes used to — centralised complaints and free dispute resolution — so they'd add nothing on top.
